Worship Application
Thank you for your interest in joining our team! Worship through music is a big part of our personality here at Summit. We believe strongly in the importance of worship music in our services, and believe that leading others in worship is a responsibility not to be taken lightly.
That said, we are always looking for new members who are gifted in music and feel called to use those gifts in a church worship setting! Our musicians, vocalists, and technical volunteers come from within our church community, and we love for people with these gifts to have an opportunity to use them—whether at Sunday services or anywhere else.

What Will Auditions Look Like?
There are two parts that are both important before serving on the worship team: Musical ability and Spiritual Maturity. Musically, of course, you have to be able to play the songs with competence. The week prior to the auditions, we'll email you two songs to familiarize yourself with. Youtube link, chord charts, lyrics, etc. When you show up, you'll take the place of the normal band member who plays your instrument, and we'll roll through them as a band.
Vocalists are handled a bit differently. You'll sit down with one of our worship leaders and just a guitar. That way, there's not a whole lot of noise, and we can focus on hearing how well you carry melodies and hear harmonies.
The spiritual side is where Jeremiah and Becky sit down and hear your heart, listen to your worship story, and communicate what the desire and goal of Summit's worship team is. This will be a great time for you to ask any questions, too.
